Anatomy of a tracked shipment

What ships, what's on the label, what crosses the border.

Every shipment is identical in format. Carrier, tracking number, declared description, weight and dimensions are fixed at the point the label is printed. Here's exactly what arrives at the door.

Transit times by region

What "5 business days" actually looks like.

Door-to-door door times measured from same-business-day dispatch. Customs clearance can add 1–2 days in some jurisdictions; we don't pad the headline number to hide it.

Customs & documentation

What's on the customs slip — and what we can change.

The default declaration is conservative and accurate. If your jurisdiction requires a specific wording, classification or invoice format, tell us before placing the order and we adjust before the label is printed.

When a shipment doesn't go through

Four conditions that block dispatch or hold the package.

Most shipments clear without incident. The exceptions are predictable and we'd rather flag them upfront than have you discover them at customs.

F1

Restricted destination

A handful of jurisdictions are restricted by export control or local import bans — the order page will tell you at checkout if yours is. We don't accept payment for orders we can't legally fulfil; the cart simply won't let you complete the address step.

F2

Customs rejection at border

Rare but possible. If a shipment is held by local customs and not cleared after 30 days, we work with the carrier to retrieve it (where possible) and either reship through a different route or refund the order — your choice.

F3

Invalid or undeliverable address

If the carrier flags the address as invalid or undeliverable, we contact you within one business day to correct it. If we can't reach you within 7 days, the package is returned to our warehouse and a new label is printed once the address is confirmed (no extra charge).

F4

Refused on delivery

If the recipient refuses delivery, the package is returned to our warehouse. We refund the order minus the round-trip carrier cost. To avoid this, do not order to an address where you cannot accept the package directly.

FAQ

What buyers ask about delivery.

How quickly do orders ship?
Same business day for orders confirmed before 2 PM CET; next business day otherwise. Order confirmation arrives by email the moment payment clears. The tracking number is sent automatically when the carrier label is printed — usually within 2 hours of confirmation, often less.
Are peptides shipped on dry ice?
No — and that's by design. Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperature for several weeks in their freeze-dried state. Dry ice would actually risk thermal cycling damage on a delayed shipment. Our insulated mailer is sufficient for the door-to-door window of any tracked carrier.
What if the package arrives damaged?
Send a photo of the damage to the customer support address — we reship priority the same business day, at our cost, with no return required. If a vial inside is broken, the same applies. We'd rather absorb the carrier's mishandling than make you fight a claims process.
Will customs open the package?
Possibly. Customs in any jurisdiction has the right to inspect any shipment. The declared description is "Lab reference compounds" by default, the COA travels in the package, and the lyophilized format is consistent with the declaration. We have not seen a shipment refused by customs over its contents in normal jurisdictions.
Can you change the declared description on the customs slip?
Yes — within reason and within the carrier's rules. Email us before placing the order with the wording you need on the slip and the HS classification you'd prefer. We can't under-declare value (carrier requirement and insurance basis), but the description and tariff code are adjustable for institutional procurement formats.
Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
PO boxes: yes for US (UPS SurePost handover), no for international (DHL Express requires a physical street address). APO / FPO: yes on request for US military addresses — let us know in the order notes so we can use the correct service code.
What about countries you don't ship to?
A handful of jurisdictions are restricted by export control or local import rules. The order page checks the destination country at checkout and blocks the cart from completing if shipping isn't available. If you're unsure whether your country is supported, email us before placing the order.
Is shipping free for international orders too?
Yes. The free-shipping threshold is on the subtotal — $59 — and applies equally to US (UPS Next Day Air) and international (DHL Express Worldwide) destinations. There is no extra surcharge for the international upgrade.
