Strictly for in-vitro laboratory research.
Every compound on igf1shop.com is sold for analytical and in-vitro research purposes only. They are not drugs, not approved by any regulatory agency, and not for human or animal consumption — period. Read the full disclaimer before placing an order.
For laboratory research use only · NOT for human or animal consumption.
The compounds sold on this site are research chemicals. They have not been evaluated by the FDA, EMA, MHRA or any equivalent regulatory body for safety or efficacy in humans or animals. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food additives or veterinary products, and they are not labelled, packaged or sold for any of those uses.
What you need to understand before ordering.
Four core points that apply to every order, every customer, every compound. The numbered sections further down cover the legal and procedural detail.
Research chemicals only
Sold for in-vitro analytical and laboratory research. Not therapeutics, not supplements, not food. Use outside this scope is the buyer's sole responsibility and voids all warranties.
Not for human or animal use
Strictly prohibited: human consumption, injection, ingestion, topical application; animal consumption, livestock, veterinary, aquaculture; food, supplement, cosmetic or agricultural formulation.
No regulatory approval
None of these compounds is approved by the FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA or any equivalent agency for human or veterinary use. They are not subject to GMP for finished pharmaceuticals — only to the analytical-lab QC described in our Quality pages.
Trained handling required
Lyophilized powders are not consumer products. Handle with appropriate PPE (nitrile gloves, eye protection, lab coat) in a controlled environment with proper ventilation. Train any new operator before letting them open a vial.
What you'll see on every vial we ship.
Every released vial carries the same mandatory disclaimer set, the same hazard markings, the same lot traceability. If a vial doesn't match this layout, it didn't come from us.
Mandatory research disclaimer
Every released vial carries the orange "<b>FOR LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY</b>" warning. Not optional, not omittable, not negotiable for any compound — it's pre-printed on the label before the vial is filled.
Hazard pictogram & PPE notice
Lyophilized powders are not consumer products. Hazard triangle and the "<b>PPE required</b>" notice point to the safety data sheet (SDS) — read it before opening any vial for the first time.
Lot & COA traceability
The lot number ties the vial to its specific Certificate of Analysis. Scan the QR (or visit <code>/coa/<slug></code>) for the lot-specific HPLC, MS and LAL data signed by the contract lab.
Acceptable uses, prohibited uses.
The line is firm. The compounds are sold for the column on the left and only that column — any use from the column on the right is a breach of the order terms and the buyer's sole responsibility.
Acceptable research uses
- In-vitro biochemistry & assay developmentReference standard for binding, kinetics, displacement assays.
- Cell culture studies (in-vitro only)Cell-line work, signalling pathway exploration, primary culture in controlled lab conditions.
- Analytical method developmentHPLC, mass spec, immunoassay calibration, reference standard work.
- Receptor and structural studiesCrystallography, NMR, surface-plasmon resonance, molecular docking validation.
- Educational use in qualified labsPostgraduate teaching of analytical methods, supervised by a PI.
- Comparative purity / contract testingUse as a known reference against which to validate other products.
Strictly prohibited uses
- Human consumption or administrationInjection, ingestion, topical application, inhalation. The compounds are not drugs and have no demonstrated human safety profile.
- Animal consumption or veterinary useLivestock, companion animals, aquaculture, wildlife — no veterinary approval exists.
- Cosmetic, food or supplement formulationThe compounds are not GRAS, not approved as cosmetic ingredients, not approved as supplement constituents.
- Agricultural applicationCrops, soil amendments, plant treatments — not agro-approved by any regulator.
- Resale to consumersRepackaging or reselling to non-research end-users circumvents the research-only restriction and voids the purchase agreement.
- Use in any clinical investigationNo IRB or ethics-committee approval, no investigational new-drug status — strictly out of scope.
What to wear, where to work, what to do if something goes wrong.
Lyophilized peptides are low-hazard relative to many lab chemicals — but they are not consumer products. Handle them with the same discipline you would any analytical reagent: PPE, controlled environment, documented training.
Personal protective equipment
Nitrile gloves, safety glasses, and a buttoned lab coat at minimum. For larger quantities or known potent compounds, add a respirator-grade mask and full sleeves. Disposable PPE preferred for compounds you have not handled before.
Controlled environment
Open vials in a fume hood or laminar-flow cabinet with HEPA filtration. Avoid open-bench reconstitution. Keep food, drink, cosmetics and personal items out of the lab area entirely — that's a baseline lab discipline, not a per-compound rule.
Trained operator only
The person opening the vial should be familiar with general lab handling and the specific safety data sheet for the compound. New users in the lab need supervised training before handling research peptides — same standard as any analytical reagent.
Spill, exposure or accident
For skin or eye exposure: rinse with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention if symptoms persist. For accidental ingestion: do not induce vomiting, contact poison control with the SDS in hand. Document the incident and write to us.
None of these compounds are approved drugs.
The position is identical across major jurisdictions: the compounds are not approved for human or veterinary use, are sold for in-vitro research only, and the buyer is responsible for compliance with their own local regulatory framework.
Not evaluated by the FDA for human use. Not a drug, supplement or food. The "research use only" labelling is the operative regulatory category.
No marketing authorisation for human or veterinary use. Sold strictly for in-vitro analytical and research purposes within EU member states.
Equivalent posture to EU. MHRA and Swissmedic do not list these compounds as authorised medicines, supplements or veterinary products.
For destinations outside US/EU/UK/CH, the buyer is responsible for confirming the compound is not restricted under local import or controlled-substance rules.
Four obligations that move with the package.
Once the vial leaves our warehouse, the chain of custody and the duty of compliance pass to the buyer. These are the obligations that ride with every order.
Verify local legality
It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that the compound is not restricted under local import, controlled-substance, or research-reagent rules in the destination jurisdiction. We can ship; we cannot pre-clear your local regulator's position for you.
Use within research scope only
Use of the compound for any purpose outside in-vitro research — human, animal, food, supplement, cosmetic, agricultural — is strictly prohibited and voids the purchase agreement. The buyer assumes all liability for off-scope use.
Maintain safe handling and storage
Following our recommended PPE, controlled environment, and storage conditions is the buyer's responsibility. Improper handling or storage that compromises stability, sterility or safety is not covered by the analytical guarantee on the COA.
Do not redistribute to consumers
Resale, transfer, or repackaging to non-research end-users circumvents the research-only restriction. The buyer agrees not to redistribute the compounds outside the original research context, and to flag suspected diversion if it comes to their attention.
